Description
This scholarship makes funds available for emergency situations for graduating Criminal Justice seniors. The student must provide a description of the financial situation and how it can be overcome with this award.
Benefits
If extenuating circumstances arise that would prevent a student from attending the final semester of the degree program because of an inability to buy books, the student could be awarded funds to purchase books.
Eligibility
- The students must be Criminal Justice seniors.
- The student must provide a description of the financial situation and how it can be overcome with this award. Documentation may be required.
- Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the UAB Office of Financial Aid.
