Description
The Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships for International Students celebrates and welcomes international students to the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka, as valued members of our University community and is awarded to support students to pursue their academic goals.
Benefits
The value of the scholarship is $10,000 with a one-year tenure.
Payment of the scholarship will be made as a credit towards tuition fees only.
Eligibility
- Application for this Entrance Scholarship is open to all international students who have completed secondary (high) school, or at another approved institution that grants University Entrance either overseas or within New Zealand.
- Are intending to enrol or have enrolled in full-time undergraduate degree-level study, or in an approved foundation diploma programme, with the objective of progressing into an undergraduate degree at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka.
In addition to the above eligibility criteria, applicants must be:
- Intending to study at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka from 100-level (first year) through to degree attainment;
- Studying on campus throughout the duration of their studies.
