Description
The scholarship is designed for international students who have the courage to step outside their comfort zones, the drive to explore new cultures, and a passion to make a meaningful impact in the world. This scholarship celebrates those who seek to grow, challenge themselves, and pursue their purpose through education, particularly those who have a deep interest in cultural exploration and Vietnamese culture.
The scholarship program applies to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at BUV. Scholarships will be awarded to exceptional academic performers who demonstrate a commitment to being international student ambassadors of BUV.

Gold: 100% Tuition Fee
Silver: 50% Tuition Fee
Bronze: 25% Tuition Fee
Please note that the scholarships cover tuition fees only. While there are no additional administrative or exam fees, they recommend that international students budget for living expenses of approximately $4,000 to $8,000 USD per year, as well as costs for flights and visas.
Eligibility
- Only Passport holders from the following regions are eligible to apply for Gold/Silver awards:ASEAN (excl. Vietnam), India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, North America, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Europe.
- All international passport holders are eligible to apply for the Bronze award
- Prospective scholars should apply when they submit their online (academic) application to BUV
- You must complete online application, pay application fee and upload all statutory admissions documentation by 30 June (for Autumn admission)
- You are also required to submit a scholarship motivation letter (max 400 words) submitted between 1 January and 30 June (see selection criteria)
- You should be an outstanding academic performer (with a minimum of IELTS 6.0, or equivalent) and strong GPA.

Applicants should gather information and seek guidance from our International Student Recruitment team.
Between 1 January and 30 June, applicants must submit an application with the following documents:
A scholarship motivation letter (max 400 words)
Documents proving that you are a strong academic performer (with a minimum of IELTS 6.0, or equivalent) and a competent GPA
Other statutory admissions documentation, as requested by BUV’s International Student Recruitment team
Applicants will be required to pay an online application fee as part of the application process.
