Description
Scholarships help you graduate from FIU with your degree and with little to no debt.
Scholarships are usually merit-based financial aid (awarded based on your grades and achievements) but some may have need-based requirements as well.
Benefits
This limited, competitive scholarship awards $2,500 ($1,250 each semester for up to 2 semesters).
Eligibility
Student Eligibility requirements:
- Student must have been accepted to FIU in the Hospitality Management program.
- Student must have at least 2.75 GPA (as calculated by Admissions) and be a first-time transfer student to FIU with at least 60 transferable credits.
- Student must enter FIU for their original entry date (i.e. award cannot be deferred to a future semester) and must be registered full-time (at least 12 credit hours in each of their first two semesters, excluding Summer).
