These merit and need-based scholarships are open to current U.S. undergraduate students and to graduating high school seniors.

They offer a variety of merit and need-based scholarships to U.S. students attending a Lowy International School Study Abroad Program, an Academic Gap Year Program, or Full Degree Program.

Eligibility

U.S. students should meet at least one of the below criteria to be eligible; preference is given to students who meet 3 or more. All application materials listed below must be submitted to be considered.

  • Applicants with a cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 (85/100) or above. Your most recent transcript must be uploaded to the TAU Student Portal when you apply for the program.
  • Applicants visiting Israel for the first time (there is a place to indicate this on the application).
  • Can demonstrate financial need. Applicants applying for need-based aid are required to submit the most recent tax return forms and FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) (if applicable).
  • Come from a partner institution of TAU (not applicable for Gap).
