Student services

BCUIC is committed to helping you achieve your goals by providing many support services. As a BCUIC student, you will have access to a variety of BCUIC and Birmingham City University services.

Housing services

The University has several halls of residence – offering a range of on-campus and inner-city living with access to various facilities. There are also lower-budget options available, such as house shares, and higher-end options, such as private apartment rentals.

Library services

The University's libraries provide access to over 135 million resources including books and journal articles.

ICT services

There is a dedicated IT Help team at the University, plus the facility to rent a laptop.

Student Life

Campus life

Birmingham City University comprises two main campuses (City Centre and City South), with additional sites located throughout the city, including the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the School of Jewellery.

The University is continuously improving – reflecting Birmingham’s urban transformation – with over £100 million invested in new facilities.

Sports facilities

The University's £8.5 million sports centre includes an 80-station fitness suite and an eight-court sports hall.

Student clubs

The University's Students' Union offers over 100 societies and sports teams for you to get involved in.
