History
SAE was established in Australia in 1976 as the world’s first audio engineering institute. The early success of SAE and the demand for our practical, theory-based and industry relevant training quickly led to the establishment of other campuses nationwide. By 1982, SAE had campuses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Uninest Student Residences, our partner for student accommodation. Uninest is designed and managed exclusively for students and offers a hassle-free option at affordable rates including regular transport to and SAE.
Fees vary between 2,950 AED and 5,800 AED per month depending on the room type
Library services
SAE Institute Dubai aims to provide an integral approach in its academic support to its students by providing library services and a wide range of credible industry relevant resources. Students are guided with hands-on research assistance along with class training sessions on using dynamic online databases and printed resources.
ICT services
SAE has a resident IT professional providing all IT needs for SAE students
Medical services
SAE Student Services staff provide guidance and support on an array of non-academic matters including:
- Time and study management skills
- Accommodation, transport and local services
- Healthy and effective study practices
- Confidential liaison for contact to professional services in health, social services, finance and counselling
Campus life
Centrally located, SAE Dubai is part of the city’s thriving and vibrant Media and Internet cities as well as Dubai Knowledge Village. This is the arts and cultural community of the city. The campus boasts a large and diverse student community and a staff of dedicated, knowledgeable professionals committed to best-practice teaching and learning.
Knowledge Village has a food court and a good selection of restaurents in walking distances from all three of SAEs buildings. Three of the buildings are separated, however the distance of walking between them is very short and can be done in minutes.
Accreditation
- Higher Education (HE) is regulated by the Commonwealth of Australia Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA). TEQSA accreditation and registration falls under the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency Act 2011.
