The International Business School was established in 2013 as a school of Hochschule Fresenius, University of Applied Sciences, one of the oldest and largest private universities of applied sciences in Germany. With a range of international study programs the International Business School provides an international dimension in higher education for global citizens.

About

History

2013 - Merger of Hochschule Fresenius, University of Applied Sciences and AMD Akademie Mode & Design and founding of International Business School.

2014 - Opening of a liaison office in London as well as location in Berlin with the Faculty of Economics & Media

2015 - Opening of location in New York City with the Faculty of Economics & Media

Education

The programs of the International Business School of Hochschule Fresenius are taught in English and also attract international students. The resulting study groups provide exciting possibilities for students to build bridges across cultures. The bachelor study programs in International Business Management (B.A.) and International Business Psychology (B.A.) are enhanced with two integrated semesters abroad. Both programs are built upon core subjects in their respective disciplines with a global focus. They are designed to prepare graduates for employment in internationally operating companies, as well as provide students with solid credentials for pursuing a master study program anywhere in the world.

To ensure a lively exchange between experts from the business world and our students, we are actively expanding our network of corporate partners. Our students have numerous opportunities to participate in workshops, events and to attend guest lectures and company presentations. These contacts are valuable to support students as they look for internships, Bachelor theses and permanent positions. For our students, this also means that real business practice exerts a high degree of influence on the lectures. Library services

The library of Hochschule Fresenius provides students, professors and staff with an extensive range of specialized literature and reference materials tailored to the needs of international business studies. Along with printed books, magazines and further publications, the library provides electronic media, such as eBooks and databases for online-literature with attached magazine archives.

ICT services

At our campuses we offer free Wi-Fi access. We also have an IT-Service where students have the opportunity to borrow techniqual equipment.

Medical services

Health insurance coverage is mandatory for all students in Germany. You must submit the evidence of your insurance when enrolling to a degree program. The evidence is also required when applying for the visa.
