Water Engineering and Circular Economy from Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS) provides a comprehensive view of water and waste management processes, as well as of the significance of regional planning in building a sustainable infrastructure and protecting water resources and natural waters. Programme Structure

Curriculum:

The scope of the Bachelor of Engineering degree is 240 ECTS credits. The studies include:

Basic studies, which create a natural sciences-technical foundation (mathematics, physics, chemistry, and a broad range of environmental topics), for the first three semesters (1.5 years).

Professional studies in water technology and/or circular economy.

Communication and language studies.

Internship periods and a thesis on a topic related to the world of work.

Optional studies.

the studies required for graduating from a Finnish upper secondary school or a Matriculation Examination;
an International Baccalaureate (IB) degree and/or graduated from IB high school with IB exam 6 results in different subjects (IB-certificate);
a European Baccalaureate (EB) Diploma;
a Reifeprüfung (RP) or Deutsche Internationale Abitur (DIA) degree;
a Finnish vocational upper secondary qualification covering 120 credits or 180 competence points or a corresponding earlier Finnish vocational degree covering at least 80 credits;
a Finnish post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma;
