Overview

To achieve the educational goals of a national school, the college combines Industry 4.0 and AI engineering in its development toward an industrial and academic university of technology.

The college established a five-year Engineering program from National Formosa University in precision mechanical engineering and a BA program in aviation maintenance (open to students of the university).

The college aims to bring its remarkable educational tradition and research performance as well as energy into full play, attach great importance to the students’ practical competence, combine the special features in the technological development of Taiwanese industries, promote industry-academia collaboration, and encourage industrial transformation as well as upgrading.

In the academic year of 2020, the college established the PhD program in smart industry technology research and design (open to students outside the university). At present, the College of Engineering has one five-year program, seven departments, one BA program, seven MA programs, two in-service MA programs, two PhD programs, 126 full-time teachers, and 4,846 students.

Attaching equal importance to both engineering technology and cultivation of humanistic values, the College of Engineering is a remarkable college that possesses the following features:
