The Multi-Age Education - Grades Pre-K-12 program atThe University of Toledo prepares educators to teach specialty subjects in grade PreK-12.Foster creativity in the next generation of pre-K through high school students and earn a multi-age education degree from University of Toledo. The Multi-Age Education - Grades Pre-K-12 at University of Toledo prepares students to be artists, creative thinkers, and art, music and foreign language teachers.

Multi-Age Education - Grades Pre-K-12 Bachelor's Degree Highlights

Extensive student teaching experience. UToledo education undergraduates spend four semesters in local rural, suburban and urban schools. This is twice as much time as most colleges require. This field experience, coupled with extensive coursework in classroom management and methods, makes our students more effective teachers. It also makes them attractive to future employers.
Top-notch art and music programs. Art and music education majors spend most of their first two years taking courses in the art and music departments.
- UToledo’s art education students have access to resources that no other program in the state has. Our art program is housed in the Center for Visual Arts on the campus of the world-class Toledo Museum of Art. Students study a variety of studio skills and are well-prepared to teach traditional and non-traditional media.
- The UToledo music program provides a wide range of performance options in both instrumental and vocal music. Students benefit from our relationships with professional arts organizations, including the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, the Toledo Opera and the Toledo Jazz Orchestra.
Outstanding foreign language resources. UToledo’s Foreign Language Learning Center is a media-driven learning lab. Listen to digital audio, read foreign-language comic books and watch live and pre-recorded Dish Network international programming.
