Overview
The greatest advantage of this Forestry specialized in Forest Ecosystems, Protection and Silviculture programme from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague is its providing the students with a comprehensive knowledge of forestry covering all spheres of forestry (biological, technological and even ecological) from nature protection, forest production to recreational and other forest functions with regard to sustainable silviculture. Students of this programme will acquire all knowledge necessary for empirical forestry.
The final state examination is passed before the commission.
The student defends the Bachelor´s thesis and passes examinations in four comprehensive subjects: Forest Harvesting and Logging (Těžba a doprava dříví), Forest Management (Hospodářská úprava lesů), Forest Protection (Ochrana lesa) and Silviculture (Pěstování lesů).

- submitting electronic applications including all necessary data and paying study fees of 750 CZK
- successful passing entrance examinations
- successful completing secondary education concluded with a school-leaving examination the certificate of which (either the original or its verified copy) will be required from the candidates when enrolling in their study.
If secondary education has been completed abroad, it is necessary to submit a Decision of Nostrification, i.e. the recognition of a secondary education level by the Czech authorities
