The School of Dentistry (CMUD) was established in 1980. As a highly acclaimed professional resource for dental education in the nation and the latest provider of oral health care services in the central Taiwan area, CMUD is dedicated to combining higher education and research with community service.

The mission of the Dentistry programme from China Medical University E is to improve the oral health of people in central Taiwan and shape the future of dentistry by:

Future Prospects for Graduates

Students graduating from university have to pass the National Board Examination, followed by mandatory two-year post-graduate medical training before they go to private sector for clinical service as general practitioners.

Students can pursue advanced training for

master degree alone (at least two years) for basic or clinical research.

master degree in conjunction with residency for specialty training(at least 3 years) in the hospital.

Ph.D. training for independent research.

Age from 18-25 years old;

Examination results in physics, chemistry and biology should be better than average;

For non-native English speakers who apply for Tor English-taught programs, they should submit the lELTS/TOFEL result or other certificate to certify their English level.
