Their highly diverse design expertise includes: product design, interaction design, information design, advertising design, media design, interior design, environmental design, social design, service design, transitional environments design, innovative business design, intelligent systems design, smart service design, and innovative multimedia entertainment .

We nurture over 1,100 students yearly in a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with around 143 of them being PhD students (2025). The School provides a high level, well equipped environment that includes significant research infrastructure with eight laboratories and a variety of first class technical workshops in the Jockey Club Innovation Tower, a landmark building designed by Zaha Hadid (1950-2016). We believe new premises drives new thinking.

GCE A-level / International A-level: GCE Advanced Level or International Advanced Level with passes in 3 AL, OR 2 AL and 2 AS, subjects
International Baccalaureate (IB): A minimum score of 24 with at least grade 4 in 2 Higher Level subjects
SAT Reasoning Test/ACT/Advanced Placement Test: A High School (Graduation) Diploma and any one of the following: a total score of 1190 in the SAT Reasoning Test; or an American College Test (ACT) composite score of 24; AND grade 3 in two Advanced Placement (AP) subjects; or a score of 600 in two SAT Subject Tests
