Overview
A combination of medical, psychological and social science subjects prepares students to enhance the functional performance of community-dwelling people with disabilities in self-care, leisure and work. Students learn how to minimize disabilities, promote health and improve the quality of life of clients and their families.
The Occupational Therapy (Honours) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University prepares students to deliver client-centred occupational therapy and to be committed to promoting equal opportunities in all members of the community.
It also prepares them for lifelong helping careers in which they will empower clients to manage their disabilities, educate the public about healthy and meaningful living and pass down their knowledge to new generations of therapists.
