Overview

They study a large number of topics that affect human behaviour and they include social, organic, developmental and emotional factors. Students learn research strategies and data analysis methods. The BSc (Hons) Psychology offers a general overview of the history of Psychology, and of the modern theories and “trends”. 

The design and the content of the programme meet the requirements of the British Psychological Society - BPS. The programme graduates can become members of the BPS as graduates of a recognized programe of studies (Graduate Member) and can obtain the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) which constitutes an entry requirement for many Society accredited postgraduate training courses and is the first step to becoming a privileged member of the Society (Chartered Psychologist).
