Overview
The (Hons) Psychology course from the Metropolitan College provides a comprehensive overview of the history of Psychology and it delves deeply into various psychological theories and their practical applications, which is essential for developing well-rounded psychologists and psychotherapists.
Psychologists strive to understand, predict and affect human behaviour through documenting and research. The curriculum of Metropolitan College trains students to approach each case separately and subjectively. The design and content of the BSc (Hons) Psychology programme meets the requirements of the British Psychological Society (BPS). Graduates of the programme have the right to join the Society, as graduates of a recognised course (Graduate Member) and they have the ability to obtain a Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), which is the basis for continuing onto postgraduate studies or vocational training programmes in the field and the first step toward becoming a Chartered Member of the Association.
