The Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife program at The Ohio State University is an applied-science major that equips students with the knowledge and skills to solve problems in the conservation and restoration of landscapes, ecosystems, habitats, and plant and animal species that are affected by human’s use of resources.
The Forest Ecology and Management program of the Utah State University is the only one in Utah that is nationally accredited with the Society of American Foresters, and USU is the only university in the state with a college devoted to the study of natural resources.
