The Animal Science course at Rutgers University is a popular programme for many students enrolled at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS). Over 450 upper class students are enrolled as majors. In addition, approximately 90 first-year and 35 transfer students declare Animal Science as their major each year.
Insects are the most abundant and diverse animal group on earth and can be found in almost every terrestrial ecosystem and have a profound effect on their ecosystems as well as human society. The Entomology programme of Rutgers University is designed for students who want to learn more about insects and their relationship with humans and the environment.
