Description
The UCD ISC IFY Joint Scholarship scheme comprises two separately funded consecutive scholarships: Study Group will fund the University College Dublin International Study Centre (UCD ISC) International Foundation Year scholarship and UCD will fund the full-time degree programme tuition fee scholarshipto eligible candidates in any approved year.

The UCD ISC International Foundation Year stream determines the scholarship amount:
Business, Economics and Finance:
Scholarship of €4,000 awarded for the UCD ISC International Foundation Year.
Tuition fee scholarship of €2,000 awarded on progression to an approved UCD degree programme.
Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities:
Scholarship of €4,000 awarded for the UCD ISC International Foundation Year.
Tuition fee scholarship of €2,000 awarded on progression to an approved UCD degree programme.
Engineering and Science:
Scholarship of €4,000 awarded for the UCD ISC International Foundation Year.
Tuition fee scholarship of €4,000 awarded on progression to an approved UCD degree programme.
Eligibility
- The joint scholarship scheme is limited to 5 students from each of the following regions:South East Asia, East Asia (excluding China), Africa, Levant (i.e. Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and the Palestinian territories), Russia.
- Where more than 5 eligible students are included in a cohort, preference will be given to academically high achieving applicants.
- The following regions are excluded: Europe, China, Middle East & Gulf (with the exception of Levant designated countries, detailed above), Americas.
- Scholarships are only open to self-funding candidates who are classified as non-EU for tuition fee purposes.
- Clinical degree programmes are excluded from this scholarship scheme. Clinical programmes include but are not limited to Biomedical Science Health & Life Sciences, Radiography, Medicine, Health and Performance Science, and Sport and Exercise Management.
- Sponsored students are not eligible for this scholarship scheme.
- Students must have achieved the UCD ISC progression requirements and meet all conditions of offer to be eligible for award of the full-time degree programme scholarship.
- Self-funding candidates must have sufficient funds to cover the remaining living costs, travel and any other costs associated with studying at the University.

Following notification of UCD ISC IFY Joint Scholarship offer, students must submit anacceptance online within the acceptance period stipulated in their online Offer Letter (2-week acceptance deadline normally applies).
It is the student’s responsibility to formally accept the scholarship offer.
UCD ISC IFY Joint Scholarships are non-transferable and will apply only to the programme and academic term (or ‘commencement date’) associated with the offer letter that contains thescholarship award. Once the offer of a UCD ISC IFY Joint Scholarship has been issued, a studentwho declines the initial offer of admission to UCD may not retain the Scholarship for anotherprogramme.
