Description

Nanooks push the boundaries of what’s possible, and this award supports nonresident, soon-to-be adventurers, of any UAF major. The Alaska Adventure Award supports nonresident, soon-to-be adventurers, of any UAF major.

Benefits

The scholarship awards: 

First-Year Students

High School GPA 3.0-3.19: $3,000 per year, $12,000 over four years.

High School GPA 0-2.99: $1,000 per year, $4,000 over four years.

Transfer Students

Previous College GPA 2.6-2.99: $500 per year, $2,000 over four years.

Eligibility

  • Recipients must be enrolled full-time (12 UAF credits) during the fall and spring semesters and must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), meaning maintaining a GPA of 2.0+ and completing 67% of attempted classes.
  • This award is available for nonresident students only, and students receiving the Western Undergraduate Exchange Tuition Rate do not qualify.
