Description
The Young Technologists Scholarship was made for talented and inquisitive high school graduates looking to strengthen their passion and expertise in technology to innovate and create new opportunities and inspire good in the world of STEM.

Benefits
Up to 35 Young Technologists Scholarships are awarded every year across our five partner universities (approximately 7 scholars per university).
If successful, you’ll receive access to:
Receive up to $20,000 in fully flexible funding for your undergraduate studies to put toward your course, degree materials or living expenses. This funding comprises of $15,000 awarded directly to scholars over three years, plus an additional $5,000 to cover the cost of attending our Disruptive Leaders Program.
Eligibility
We’re looking for the best and brightest minds who have decided a STEM-focused future is right for them. Your interest in technology matches your drive to improve the communities around you. We want to help you realise this potential. To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Have completed high school within the last two years.
- Have chosen to commence an approved STEM-related degree next year at one of our five partner universities. Please note: at the time of applying you do not need a formal offer to your course of choice.
- Be able to attend the Disruptive Leaders Program in Singapore (July 2025). Please note: travel and accommodation expenses related to this event are covered by Westpac Scholars Trust.
- Be able to attend the Westpac Scholars Summit in Sydney. Please note: travel and accommodation expenses related to this event are covered by Westpac Scholars Trust.
