Description

Patch Fund at the Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. The award is from a generous anonymous benefactor to assist students with their Dental studies who are: from underprivileged backgrounds, from the North East and are in need of financial support.

Benefits

The award amount is £1,000 per year for your first four years of undergraduate study. 

 

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award you must:

  • be in Year 1 of the Dental Surgery BDS undergraduate degree programme in the School of Dental Sciences;
  • have been resident in the North East for five years or more. Postcodes include those beginning: NE, SR, DH, DL, TD, TS;
  • be from an underprivileged background and/or with low household incomes.
