Description

This Worshipful Company of Shipwrights Scholarship has been kindly provided by the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights to further the education of Marine Technology.

Benefits

£7,500 total - £2,500 per year will be paid for your first 3 years of study

Eligibility

a UK based Undergraduate student, entering stage 1 of study

a Widening Participation (WP) student - the University classes students as WP if they have been in receipt of Free School Meals and/or are estranged and/or are care experienced

registered on one of the following courses:

BEng (Hons) Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (H515)
Meng (Hons) Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (H517)

If you are joining Newcastle University from September, you will not be able to apply for scholarships until the beginning of Semester 1. Applications will open in the week commencing 14 September, and only registered students who meet the relevant eligibility criteria will be able to apply via the Student Portal.

The application deadlines for our donor-funded scholarships have been extended. Most scholarships will now be closing on 27 October, with some scholarships remaining open until 30 October.
