Description
The Palgrave Brown Scholarship has been established by the Palgrave Brown Bursary Fund to provide funding for undergraduates from certain Eastern European countries who are in need of financial assistance.

Benefits
An annual grant of at least £13,365 towards living costs. Students undertaking a six-year medical degree would only receive funding for the first four years of the course.
Eligibility
- Students must be ordinarily resident in and/or educated in the following countries:Albania; Armenia; Azerbaijan; Belarus; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Bulgaria; Croatia; Czech Republic; Estonia; Georgia; Hungary; Kazakhstan; Kyrgyz Rep.; Latvia; Lithuania; Macedonia; Moldova; Montenegro; Poland; Romania; Russia; Serbia; Slovakia; Slovenia; Tajikistan; Turkmenistan; Ukraine; Uzbekistan.
- Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need, and academic merit will also be taken into consideration. As this is a partial award, priority will be given to students for whom this scholarship will make the most difference in being able to afford studying at Oxford.

You must make an application to the University of Oxford for an undergraduate course through UCAS by 15 October 2024, and be successful in gaining a place.
If you are offered a place at the University of Oxford for an undergraduate course for 2025 entry, you should apply online by 12 noon (UK time) on 12 February 2025. Please note that the application deadline for 2025 entry has now passed.
For 2025 entry applicants who apply by the scholarship deadline, the selection process will be undertaken in March 2025.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by the end of May 2025.
