In 1937, Madonna University (then known as Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Junior College) was established by Mother Mary DeSales Tocka and her council in the Felician Central Convent in Livonia, with a first year enrollment of 18 Sisters.

Madonna University is committed to supporting students in pursuit of their goals through a range of scholarships and grants awarded based on academic performance, financial need, athletic experience, and group affiliation. Scholarships and grants are awards that do not need to be repaid and are awarded at the time of admission to Madonna.

Need-based academic award for students who will be residing in university housing and exhibit financial need as determined by the FAFSA.  Award only applies to students at the Livonia Campus.
