In 1937, Madonna University (then known as Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Junior College) was established by Mother Mary DeSales Tocka and her council in the Felician Central Convent in Livonia, with a first year enrollment of 18 Sisters.

Description

Madonna University is committed to supporting students in pursuit of their goals through a range of scholarships and grants awarded based on academic performance, financial need, athletic experience, and group affiliation. Scholarships and grants are awards that do not need to be repaid and are awarded at the time of admission to Madonna.

High School Merit Scholarships are awarded to students who enroll at Madonna University directly after completing high school; first-time adult students are also eligible to receive these awards as well.

The scholarships are for full-time, degree-seeking students and are renewable for up to four years. Students applying for Fall admission may choose to apply as test-optional. This means you are not required to submit ACT/SAT scores to be considered for admission or merit-based awards.

Benefits

The scholarship is worth up to $14,000.

 

Eligibility

  • Must enroll at Madonna University directly after completing high school. Adults are also eligible for this award.
  • Must have at least 2.8 GPA.
  • For upper awards you must have at least 3.0GPA and 22+ ACT/1100+ SAT scores.
