Description
Dr. Marshall came to EMU in 1968 immediately after receiving his doctorate from the University of Michigan. He was the organizer of the Math Club and served as the adviser to mathematics majors up until the time of his death.
Classes taught by Dr. Marshall were immensely popular, especially his college geometry course for which he had written a textbook.
He was well known for his service and was the first recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Award for service to the University.
