Through the generous support of alumni, corporations and friends of the College of Education, they are able to offer a limited number of scholarships to their students. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $5,000 and are only for students who are currently enrolled in or have been admitted to the College of Education.

Description

Directors Scholarship is a scholarship to a student enrolled or accepted in any undergraduate program in the College of Education.

Benefits

The value of the scholarship will be known after applying.

Eligibility

  • Selection of the award recipient will be based on academic excellence, demonstrated need and leadership through extracurricular achievements.
  • The student must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or higher, a combined SAT score of 1100 with a verbal and mathematical minimum score no less than 500, and/or an ACT score of 23 or greater.
  • Preference will be given to, but not limited to, a North Carolina resident.
  • The award may be renewed provided the student maintains at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Priority consideration is given to students who complete their application by February 15th. Because there are many applicants, the Scholarship Committee begins their review immediately so applicants are encouraged to apply upon notification of their acceptance to North Carolina State University.
