Description

Robert Snaith was an engineering guru with a passion for life and for his craft. He was also a superb teacher. During his 16 years with EIT he directly influenced the careers and development of many thousands of engineers – a legacy that will extend into future generations.

The Robert Snaith Scholarship for Aspiring Technicians is offered, in his honor, to aspiring engineering technicians.

Benefits

The scholarship is worth 50% reduction on your advanced diploma tuition fees.

A maximum of six scholarships will be awarded per year, but only one per advanced diploma intake (subject to availability).

Eligibility

  • Future Advanced Diploma students.
  • Must complete and submit a 500-word statement explaining how the skills and knowledge you gain from the advanced diploma will benefit you and your community.
  • If the scholarship holder defers or withdraws from the course, the scholarship will be forfeited.
  • Similarly, if the scholarship holder fails a module, the scholarship will be forfeited.

To apply for the Robert Snaith Scholarship for Aspiring Technicians, you must:

Complete an application for an EIT Advanced Diploma.

Receive confirmation of your acceptance into the advanced diploma, via email.

Complete the scholarship application form.

Complete a 500-word statement explaining how the skills and knowledge you gain during the course will benefit you and your community.

Submit your completed scholarship application form, together with your 500-word statement via email.

Please note, cut-off date for scholarship applications is 1 month prior to the start date of the course.
