The Julie M. Van Boven Endowed Scholarship in Special Education was established in 2019 by Gregory R. Van Boven in memory of his sister Julie M. Van Boven ‘86.

Eligibility

  • Income from the endowment will be used to support an undergraduate scholarship for at least one student annually within the College of Education and Human Services at CMU.
  • Eligible recipients will be enrolled in the Special Education major.
  • The recipient will be a student who demonstrates exceptional dedication and promise in their potential to help children with disabilities.
  • Academic achievement may be considered, but shall not be the sole criterion for the award.
