Description
The scholarship is provided by Mr Ken Hodcroft (BSc Chemical Engineering, 1976) and Mr Berge Larsen, (BSc Chemical Engineering, 1975) alumni. One scholarship is available to students accepted on to an undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree programme in the School of Engineering.
Benefits
£3,000 provided at Newcastle University Applications will be judged on academic potential, enthusiasm and aptitude for the chosen programme of study. Preference will be given to female home students ordinarily resident in the UK
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award, you must be:
- BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering (H810)
- MEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering (H813)
- MEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering with Year in Industry (H815)
Preference will be given to female students.

The scholarship will be awarded to one student on the programme who comes from a widening participation background and/or has a low household income, and is able to demonstrate financial need for the award. You must have applied for the full student loan to which you are entitled and be able to produce evidence of this. Applications will be judged on academic potential, enthusiasm, and aptitude for the chosen programme of study.

Applications must be received no later than 31 October.
