Description

When Professor Richard Friedman died in 1997, the Department of Economics at Cal State Northridge established a memorial award in his name. Rick was always the friend of students in need. For this reason, they thought he would be most honored by an award to a student who had overcome significant adversity (personal, health, financial, family, and political).

The Department of Economics gives a cash award in the fall and spring semester to the economics major who has overcome significant odds in getting his or her education - the Richard Friedman Memorial Award. Rick was a great professor and friend to them all.

Benefits

The scholarship offers a $300 amount, to help you with your studies
