Description

The Lawrence Weill Applied Mathematics Scholarship was established by family and friends in memory of Dr. Lawrence Weill, Ph.D., professor of applied mathematics. Dr. Weill was a professor at CSUF from 1980 to his retirement in 2001.

Dr. Weill was also active in research and author of books related to Global Positioning Systems (GPS).

The scholarship offers a $1,000 amount to help you with your studies.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria: 

  • Declared a Mathematics major in the Applied Mathematics concentration.
  • Enrolled full-time (12 units) at CSUF for the 2026–2027 academic year.
  • Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Undergraduate GPA.
