This scholarship was established by Dr. Maijian Qian and Mr. Bob Houghton to recognize distinction in mathematics study and to provide financial assistance.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled at CSUF for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Completed or currently taking MATH 250B/207 and MATH 280.
- Financial need.
- Distinction in mathematics courses.
Criteria - Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Strong academic performance in mathematics courses.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in the field of mathematics.
- Applicants must maintain full-time enrollment and be progressing toward their degree in mathematics.
