Description
The CSUF Research and Instructional Safety Scholarship was established by three staff members from the CSUF Research and Instructional Safety Office (RISO): Sue Fisher – Director (retired), Skip Hines – Chemical Hygiene Officer (retired), and in memory of Irene Duncan – Secretary.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Students in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM)
- Sophomore status (30–59 completed units)
- Demonstrated financial need by filing the 2026–27 FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
