Description
The Jerome Wilson Memorial Scholarship is named in memory of Dr. Jerry Wilson, former Professor of Biological Science of CSUF and is awarded annually to one undergraduate or one graduate student in biology.

The scholarship offers a $1,000 amount, to help you with your studies.
Eligibility
This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Continuing Undergraduate or Graduate student at Cal State Fullerton.
- Must be a declared major in Biological Science (including concentrations such as Cell and Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Marine Biology, and Plant Biology).
- Undergraduate Requirement: Must be enrolled in at least 6 units.
- Graduate Requirement: Must be a classified or conditionally classified graduate student.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Interest Area: Must demonstrate a specific academic or research interest in Genetics.
Applicants will be evaluated based on the following:
- Consistent performance in biological science coursework, particularly in genetics-related subjects.
- Active involvement or interest in genetics research under the guidance of CSUF faculty.
- Clarity of future goals and the role biology and genetics play in the applicant's professional path.

Complete the application, answering all questions, and sign the certification;
In the "Letters of Recommendation" section, enter the contact information for at least two recommenders. At least one recommender must be a CSUF faculty member.

A current copy of your CSUF transcripts.
A narrative indicating your biological interests, your personal/academic background, and your future goals. Crucially, specify in whose lab or with which faculty member you are currently conducting genetics research.
