Description
The Student Speech Therapists and Audiologists Nurturing Cultural Enrichment (STANCE) was established by long-time faculty member in the Department of Communications Sciences and Disorders, Dr. Terry Irvine Saenz. Dr. Saenz advocated for multicultural curriculum and clinical practice to provide learning opportunities mirroring the diversity of cultures and languages in our world.
The scholarship is named for Dr. Saenz and her sister Holly Anne Irvine who was a speech-language pathologist.

Eligibility
- This scholarship is open to students who undergraduate or post-baccalaureate student majoring in communicative disorders
- Shows demonstrated financial need.
- Preference will be given to students who are actively engaged in multiculturalism efforts within the community
