Description

The Holly Anne Irvine and Terry Irvine Saenz Scholarship was established by long-time faculty member in the Department of Communications Sciences and Disorders, Dr. Terry Irvine Saenz. Dr. Saenz advocated for multicultural curriculum and clinical practice to provide learning opportunities mirroring the diversity of cultures and languages in our world. 

The scholarship is named for Dr. Saenz and her sister Holly Anne Irvine who was a speech-language pathologist.

Eligibility

  • This scholarship is open to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree majoring in the Department of Communication Disorders at Cal State Fullerton.
  • Applicants should be interested in a career as a speech-language pathologist or audiologist and have an interest in working with multicultural populations.

Submit a 1-2 page personal statement reflecting your achievements, goals, and multicultural involvement;

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or if you currently receive financial aid, please attach a copy of your “award” that is available through TITAN Online on your Portal for establishing financial need;

Do not submit application until all required documents have been uploaded.
