Description

The Dale M. Schoettler Scholarship for Visually Impaired Students was established in 1991 by Mr. Schoettler, who was a successful businessman from Mountain View, California and blind the last eight years of his life.

The scholarship is worth up to $10,000.

Eligibility

  • Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA.
  • Student must be currently enrolled in Spring and remain enrolled in at least 6.1 units in the Fall semester and in at least 6.1 units in the next Spring semester.
  • Provide verification of a visual disability from a medical health professional. The disability must be such that it impedes the educational process and necessitates accommodations, support services, or programs.
