Description
The John Stewart Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of John Stewart and supports the efforts of students who are in need of financial assistance. John Stewart, an outstanding journalist, died of cancer at a young age.

Eligibility
Open to CSUF students who meet the following criteria:
- Majors in the journalism concentration
- Juniors or senior UGRD only
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Demonstrate financial need by filing the 2026–27 FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
Criteria:Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Good academic standing with the university.
- Financial Need
- Experience in journalism activities
