Description

The Bergstrom Family Scholarship was created by Richard Bergstrom on behalf of the Bergstrom Family to support students with financial need who have overcome significant challenges while pursuing their degree.

Benefits

The scholarship offers up to $8,000 to help you with your studies.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a new, first-time, or transfer undergraduate student at CSU Fullerton.
  • Must maintain full-time enrollment (minimum of 12 units per semester).
  • Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the 2026–27 FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA).

GPA Requirements:

  • First-time students: Minimum high school GPA of 3.0.
  • Transfer students: Minimum transfer GPA of 2.5.

Complete the Spring 2027 CSUF Scholarship Application within the Titan Scholarship Portal.

Letters of Recommendation: In the "Supplemental Materials - Letters of Recommendation" section, you must provide contact information for at least two recommenders:

Letter 1: Must be from a high school teacher, school counselor, or community college faculty member.

Letter 2: Must be from either a current/recent employer/supervisor (from a campus or community service organization where you have been actively involved) OR another teacher, school counselor, or faculty member.
