Description
The Theodore M. Dykzeul Scholarship in Jazz was established by MaryLouise and Edward Hlavac. MaryLouise’s father, Theodore M. Dykzeul, introduced her to jazz and instilled a love of music in her that has continued and deepened throughout her life. MaryLouise is a proud and very active Titan alumna, and she and her husband enjoy Jazz and the Jazz Studies program in the School of Music.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled as an incoming or continuing student.
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student majoring in Jazz and Commercial Music
- Pursuing Jazz performance.
Criteria - Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Full-time enrollment at CSUF.
- Good academic standing with the University.

This scholarship is awarded upon admission to the School of Music, enrollment, and by faculty nomination.While the primary selection is by faculty, all eligible students must complete the general application for consideration:
