Description

The Theodore M. Dykzeul Scholarship in Jazz was established by MaryLouise and Edward Hlavac. MaryLouise’s father, Theodore M. Dykzeul, introduced her to jazz and instilled a love of music in her that has continued and deepened throughout her life. MaryLouise is a proud and very active Titan alumna, and she and her husband enjoy Jazz and the Jazz Studies program in the School of Music.

The scholarship offers a $1,000 amount to help you with your studies.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Enrolled as an incoming or continuing student.
  • Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student  majoring in Jazz and Commercial Music
  • Pursuing Jazz performance.

Criteria - Applicants will be evaluated based on:

  • Full-time enrollment at CSUF.
  • Good academic standing with the University.
