Ms. Delpha S. Macy retired from the social work profession in 2003. She was the founder and director of the family preservation program offered by a comprehensive mental health center serving three East Central Indiana counties.

Prior to earning their MSW degrees at Indiana University and beginning their professional social work careers in 1967, Dr. and Ms. Macy served 2 years as U.S. Peace Corps teachers in Tabora, Tanzania.

Together, Dr. and Ms. Macy provided a combined total of 75 years of social work practice, public education and professional service during their careers.
