Mrs. Doris Hill established this Dr. Robert E. Hill Jr. Scholarship award to honor her husband, who was the first chair of the Department of Psychological Science.

The purpose of the award is to honor and assist students who demonstrate excellence and the ideals that Dr. Robert Hill Jr. strongly endorsed and encouraged.
