Description

The purpose of the Teresa Han Scholarship is to provide scholarships to Ball State University students in accordance with the stated criteria. The Teresa Han Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students in the Department of Modern Languages and Classics.

Benefits

Donor prefers to award up to $1,000 per year ($500 award per person per semester when there is a qualified applicant). This may be adjusted over time.

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate students that have completed at least one Spanish course in the Department of Modern Languages and Classics
  • Preference for heritage speaker of Spanish (i.e., of Hispanic descent)
  • Student has direct or indirect community service (community building efforts) and must submit proof of involvement
  • Financial need
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
