Description
Granted by the Journalism Alumni Association, the Louis E. Ingelhart Scholarship recognizes outstanding high school journalistic achievement.
Benefits
One-time award of $1,500, if funding is available.
Eligibility
- Awarded to an exceptional student journalist who demonstrates outstanding high school journalism service and has a strong commitment to professional journalism.
- If the recipient leaves the study of journalism, he or she will no longer be eligible for the award.

For priority consideration of all incoming freshman SJSC scholarships awarded by the unit, please submit the following online application by EOD (11:59 p.m. Eastern time) March 1 for the following academic school year. Applications submitted after this deadline will be considered only if there are any remaining or unawarded scholarships.
