Description
Unitywater Fiona Waterhouse Women in STEM Scholarship aims to support the advancement of education and upskilling of the workforce through providing financial support for deserving female students studying in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Benefits
The scholarship is paid over two (2) years in instalments of $3,000 per Study Period after Census Date.
Eligibility
- Female student enrolled in full-time undergraduate study in one of the following programs:
- Bachelor of Computer Science
- Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology
- any bachelor degree within the School of Science, Technology and Engineering
- Commencing penultimate year of study
- Achieving a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 5.0
- Permanent Resident of Australia, Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder
Selection criteria
- Academic merit
- Commitment to fully participate in work placement activities or other opportunities which may be offered by Unitywater
