Description

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognise and support high-achieving students entering their first year of the Bachelor of Forestry Science (BForSc) degree programme at the University of Canterbury.

Benefits

Financial assistance at a value of $2,000.

Eligibility

  • The scholarship is tenable during full-time enrolment in a Bachelor of Forestry Science (BForSc) degree programme at the University of Canterbury
  • Applicants must have completed, or be completing, a university entrance qualification, and must have studied at secondary level in New Zealand in the year of application (or, in the case of a gap year, in the year immediately prior). International students who meet these requirements are eligible to apply.

Selection will be based on:

  • Academic achievement, as indicated by quality of achievement at NCEA, or equivalent university entrance qualification; and
  • Demonstrated commitment to, and interest in, the Bachelor of Forestry Science (BForSc) degree programme.
