Description

The CSU Rugby Scholarship is funded by the CSU Bathurst Rugby Club to support one of its members through their tertiary studies.

The recipient must have a rich rugby history and a willingness to participate in CSU Rugby while undertaking their studies.

Benefits

Scholarship value of $3,000 paid in two instalments of $1,500 over one year.  

Second payment pending ongoing enrolment and satisfactory academic performance is achieved.

Eligibility

  • Be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to Rugby Union.
  • Be able to demonstrate Leadership skills.
  • Maintain successful academic achievement. Continuing students to have a GPA of 4.0 or above.

Applicants are required to answer the following as part of their application process :

  • Describe your Rugby Union career so far (may be expressed in dot points).
  • Give examples of your commitment to Rugby Union - supporting documentation must be provided.
  • Explain in brief what goals you have in Rugby Union and what benefits you have gained from playing Rugby Union.

Financial documentation such as a Centrelink income statement or your last 3 payslips.

Up to date resume.

An essay, research project proposal or reference letters may be requested.

If your selection criteria involves Local Government Areas (LGA), please supply ONE of the following: electricity bill, phone bill, rates notice, school record.
