Description
TUM awards Scholarships for International Students funded through budget resources from the Bavarian government.
Benefits
It is a one-time financial aid between €500 and €1,800 per semester. You can reapply every semester.
Eligibility
Requirements:
- who are not eligible for BAföG due to their nationality (see §8 BAföG)
- as of 3rd semester in thei motr bachelor‘s studies enrolled at TUM
- as of 2nd semester in their master’s studies enrolled at TUM (or as of 1st semester in their master’s studies, if the bachelor degree has been completed at TUM)
- submission of the bachelor's thesis or master's thesis not before 30 June (summer term)and 31 December (winter term)
- Merit: good academic records
- Proven need
- of the applicant Note: Receipt of a waiver or waiver scholarship is included as income
- low parents' income, low income of the spouse if applicable (see BaföG)

Two recommendations
Proof of applicant’s income
Proof of parents‘ income or proof of income of spouse if applicable.
Only complete applications can be accepted.
If you or your lecturer hand in the recommendations later, the deadline (15 November / 15 May) must be adhered to.
